About Jasper

It always sounds less boastful to give a concise professional resume in the third person, so here goes: “Jasper is an inventive and inquisitive full-stack senior developer with a solid track record of working with various languages and technologies. He has travelled around the world a fair deal and gained experience within a variety of technical domains and corporate cultures. Thanks to his arts background he has always had a keen eye for the human factor in development, because building software is always complex and it is every team member’s responsibility to make themselves well understood. Whether the language is Dutch, English or Java.
Jasper is a good team player, pragmatic and doesn’t care for grandstanding or pet peeves. He chooses the best tools to get the job done and is always ready to learn. On several blogs he shares his ideas about the craft and explores the latest trends. In his open-source projects he uses promising languages and tools like Kotlin, Scala and Angular 5. The remaining spare time he likes to spend sportively (fitness and cycling) and creatively, making music and theatre (acting, directing and writing) in the mini-theatre he runs with his wife Sandra in their garden”.
